Version 5.0 is here!
- Added the Speed Boost and Doubler Bonus power-ups. One gives you a small boost across the screen—knocking out all obstacles. The other will turn all Shell Coins into Spirals for 12 seconds, doubling their value.
- Fixed the bug where the Magnet power-up would also absorb obstacles and platforms instead of just coins.
- Made it where the ‘refill’ cost for the Plinko game incrementally increases every time you clear the prizes (e.g., 100 to 125 to 150). This prevents you from speedrunning the entire prize game for only 350 coins, five times in a row.
- Tweaked a few sounds and music effects.
- Added a sound effect for saws that gets louder the closer you are to them.
- The score text now changes color when you beat your previous high score. A new high score will also give you a small reward.

@Murtaza
Thank you so much! It was very fun to make and I loved getting everyone’s feedback. I’m a graphic designer, so I take a lot of inspiration from classic games and then create everything myself. I’m glad you enjoyed it! I really hope to put it on the App Store one day. Thanks for leaving a comment/review.

This is awesome! Very well thought out. I like how at the beginning there is no spikes so you feel safe with the walls. Gives the player time to learn the game without actual rules or explanations. Graphics and sounds are all great too. Everything is just great.
Reminds me of the early iPhone games which were simple and so addictive. I can definitely see this in the App Store

Thanks so much for playing and for the awesome feedback! I’m really glad you enjoyed the movement and the little bit of float—it was something I worked on to make it feel smooth and fun, so it’s great to hear that stood out. I totally agree about adding some narrative and swapping the spikes and saw blades for proper enemies on certain areas; that’s definitely in the works (jellyfish, crabs, etc.). I hadn’t thought about starting the player anchored to a wall or adding some intro levels to ease into the gameplay, but those are great ideas, and I’ll be looking into them for sure. I’m also going to tweak the midair direction-change window a bit—it’s such a good call to make those split-second saves more satisfying. Thanks again for playing and for the thoughtful suggestions—it really means a lot!

Really fun!
Love the way the star rolls across the barriers and that there’s a little bit of float instead of snapping wall to wall. That little bit of leeway feels really good. Good call having multiple song so the repeats after dying aren’t annoying. Few constructive things: I’d give a few short but progressively more difficult levels at the beginning so we can get some satisfaction from learning instead of dying over and over until we get the flow. It’d be cool if that brief window where you can change directions midair was a little bit wider. Not so much to ruin the game but enough to catch yourself if you realize the mistake you made immediately. Saves are fun… Loose suggestion but maybe think of a narrative with enemies instead of spikes and saw blades. Might want to stick the player to the wall at the beginning. If you don’t press anything you can drift for a long time without hitting anything 😅 Genuinely a lot of fun. Subscribed to see what you do next 😁
