I don't think it's necessary to keep behaviors under the challenge limit. If you want, I geuss you could...

I probably don't need to, but it's more fun that way :D .

Also, I've actually been working on DBTP, be it slowly XD . I guarantee I'll be able to get more done over my Thanksgiving break, so I'll finally email you around that time. Sorry for taking 5000 years though.

Ha ha great! I geuss I'll hear from you soon then!

So far, so good! I've gotten to 118, and I'm just nearing that 2-minute mark. The difficulty DOES indeed ramp up around 20 seconds. I'd say quick reaction time is a must just to get up to the big leagues.

And also, I'm REALLY curious how you made the music for this game and BackTrack.

Thanks so much for commenting :D ! I love making super intense games like this, so I appreciate the compliment!

I've been asked this question a lot recently, but I make all my music myself in a little application called "DefleMask". It's a FANTASTIC program, and can almost flawlessly replicate the sounds of old video game systems, including the NES, Game Boy, Sega Genesis, and more! The soundtrack for BackTrack is made with the NES soundchip, if you were wondering.

But in terms of Acnegeddon's (short) soundtrack, I actually reused an old track I made from about 2 years ago XD . I made that one on a cruddy web-app called "Pulseboy". You can still find it if you just go to their website. Both of these programs are free, and they're very easy to use!

This probably sounds offtopic from the game itself, but I've been playing around in "DefleMask" for a while now. Kinda having a hard time working with it since I'm used to using "GarageBand", but I've been watching tutorials and listening to the samples and stuff just to get a general idea. Maybe I might try out the Genesis soundchip.

That's how I felt when I started using it. It looks a bit complicated at first, but don't get discouraged! Once you practice/ experiment enough, it becomes a lot of fun to use. I actually just finished a new track that's almost a minute long XD, but it was a blast to make.

Lol

Well said XD.

I like it! Where did you make the graphics? And why zits? 😂

July 10, 2016

Haha that's a good question XD ! When I was in middle school, one of my friends gave me the idea for a small comic series I was doing. The idea consisted of a character names Gortox the Zit XD. He was a giant mutant zit with a single eyeball and a sharp teeth that could latch onto the side of your face and hypnotize you XD XD. I hadn't used it in awhile, so I decided to use it here.

Also, I make all of my graphics for both BackTrack and Acnegeddon on an app called Sprite something. It's fantastic for making pixel graphics, if that's what you're looking for.

July 10, 2016

That's a crazy story lol! Thanks, I have a pixel app but it's bad, I'll check that other app out.

July 10, 2016

Pretty cool! I like the effects and design! How many behaviors did you use?

July 10, 2016

Thank you! I used less than 70 behaviors to make it. I couldn't give you a direct count at the moment though.

July 10, 2016

Ok cool! Lol I used 99 for mine :).
