You have been summoned to Druid's Keep to begin your training as a druid. But when you arrive, the Keep is deserted. Make your way through the corridors and chambers of the Keep to find the lost Leabhar Draoidheadchd, the Druid Book of Magic. You will need its wisdom for what lies beyond!
Druid's Keep is a puzzle adventure game created for the 100 behaviors challenge. It uses exactly 100 behaviors, all are on the GameEngine label except 3 that are on the Credits button on the End Page.
- contains portals, movable stone columns, deadly scorpions
- sound effects (still needs background soundtrack)
- 25 levels (with more on the way)
Have fun making your way through the Keep!

This is very clever, changing directions mid-walk could make this a game changer

Dead simple idea, very clever execution!

Cool puzzle game! Simple but challenging!

Really Great Game, I enjoy playing it very much. But Every Time I get to the next level,i couldn’t move. If you fix that, will make the game more enjoyable!

It’s hard at level 3 but I managed.

There is a glitch that I found quite useful throughout the game. For instance, on level twelve, when you spawn, you can move the moving block to the center of the slider. Then as you pass under it, you can move the moving block down on top of the character, stopping him in the middle of the block, allowing you to move the block off of him, and redirect him from there. So, while doing this on level twelve would not significantly reduce the time it took to complete the level, this can be done on almost all levels containing moving blocks.
July 29, 2016
Yeah, I have a fix for that, but it takes a few behaviors and I haven't been able to trim off any. I'm working on an expanded version for after the 100 challenge and have this issue fixed in this version, as well as the glitch that lets you move the block beyond its boundaries if you rapidly tap on an arrow button.
July 29, 2016
Ok, just thought I'd let you know. Great game, you deserve to win!
July 27, 2016
These graphics look exactly like some of the graphics used on a game called Ravenswood: Dungeons of Nevermore that was created on Gamepress. How come you have these graphics? Did you get permission? Lol just wondering, but the game is awesome, great job!
July 27, 2016
Wow, you remember that one. I'm the one who created Ravenswood: Dungeons of Nevermore in Gamepress. Was going under the name "Jonathan Strange" back then. So yes, same graphics, but the gameplay and game mechanics of this one are different.
July 27, 2016
Wow! Thats awesome! What a coincidence though...
July 22, 2016
Is level 25 even possible!? Lol I can't beat it. What I think you should do is include some sort of cheat system - for example after 5 minutes "would you like to skip this level for $0.20." Of course, Hyperpad currently doesn't support in-app purchases, but they're coming (hopefully).
July 23, 2016
It is possible. I'll probably add a hint button and/or a skip option like you suggested.
July 23, 2016
Would you like a hint? Are you able to get the key, but not get out?
July 23, 2016
Yup and yup. Thanks.
July 23, 2016
You need to stop right on top of the key when you get it. Then it's down, left, down, right, up and out. You'll need to move the pillars just right for this to work (that's for you to figure out!)
July 23, 2016
Ok, thanks! :)
July 21, 2016
You should have it save the level you are on. Then you could add a restart button.
July 21, 2016
Yeah, I'm trying to cut out some other behaviors so I can add a save level feature.
Will definitely add it after the 100 challenge.
July 21, 2016
Ok great!

Quick feedback: I notice you have iPhone support enabled. But your game doesn't work on iPhone, everything is cut off. Did you make sure to test if everything fits within iPhone aspect ratios as well?
Not a huge issue, since I'm the only person who can play on an iPhone.. But it will become an issue you need to be aware of in the near future when we release our player app.
July 17, 2016
Actually I didn't realize I had iPhone enabled. I was designing the game/graphics for iPad so not surprising that it gets cut off. I'll set it for iPad only with the next revision.
July 17, 2016
Also, I put The100 in as a keyword when I uploaded, but it's not appearing on the challenge page.
July 18, 2016
I'll get @Hamed to see what's going on and why it's not appearing on the challenge page.
July 18, 2016
Should be showing up in the challenge page now :)
July 19, 2016
Thanks
July 16, 2016
Extremely cool! Actually, probably the coolest thing I've seen in the past 2 months probably! After the 100 behavior challenge is over you can polish this just a bit more with some background moving features, or something animated like that. Then, once you have 30 or so levels, I'd consider publishing to the App Store!
July 17, 2016
Thanks. I have some ideas to expand this and hope to get it in the App Store at some point.
July 16, 2016
This was really good. The levels were hard but not frustrating and the gameplay was simple and clear. The connected textures were a bit strange sometimes, I'm guessing there were no textures for 4 way intersections of walls? On the last level (with the book), there was a small gap between two of the walls, and the background of the retry button looked like it connected to the path, but other than that it was great.
July 16, 2016
Also, the moving block could be activated while the player was moving, allowing the player to move inside it and get off the grid. If you can reduce some behaviours somewhere, you should try to fix this.
July 17, 2016
Thanks. I need to do some work on some of the tiles that don't quite tile together properly, and make a 4 way connector. The retry button is on the global scene page, so it's in the same position on every scene. I can move it to a different location for the book scene, but that will cost me a behavior. Could also use a different texture background for the retry button, instead of the floor tile, so it stands out from the floor and wall.
July 17, 2016
Yeah, this will take a few additional behaviors, so I'll have to see if I can trim some elsewhere.
July 16, 2016
Sometimes, i would collect the key, then forget which opening the exit was. It would be more helpful, in my opinion, to have some kind of marker.
Great job!
July 17, 2016
Good point, I forget myself sometimes. I'll add a little arrow or maybe change the closed door graphic to an open door graphic.
July 16, 2016
This is a GREAT game! Only bugs I noticed were: -if you hit the moving wall button repeatedly, the wall would be able to move past it's boundaries, and off the map -sometimes, the portals would not work
You should SERIOUSLY consider publishing in the app store!
July 17, 2016
Thanks. I have a fix for the moving wall getting beyond its track, but it puts it over the 100 limit. So for now, just can't get too tap happy with the arrow buttons 😀
July 17, 2016
Oh, and I'm not sure why the portals occasionally glitch with the Druid getting caught in two at the same time. Still trying to figure that out, but since it doesn't always happen I'm not sure what's causing it.
July 16, 2016
Clever game. Needs more sfx. I.e walking and doors etc
July 17, 2016
Thanks. Working on more sound effects and a background soundtrack, but probably won't get those in this version for the 100 behaviors challenge.
