First try at hyperpad. I really enjoyed fiddling around with it for a bit. Impressive with what you can do with it on an iPad.

It's way better than my first project

Nice first project. Interestting art style :). Looking forward to seeing more from you.
One suggestion I have, the sounds are pretty annoying. Especially since all of your enemies are shooting at once. Just a constant shoot tone. What you can try, is create an empty object just before you reach the enemies. As soon as you collide with that empty object, then enable your enemies behaviours. This way your enemies aren't doing anything until you get close to them. This can add some unique gameplay elements too :).

Thanks. It's an unique app you have here. I don't think there is anything else like hyperpad for iPad.
Yeah those sounds are pretty annoying.. I actually like the annoying aspect of them, but I agree not in unison.
I do like my vector art. It was also just an easy and fast way to get some custom graphics into the app with the Assembly app from Pixite. I think that one is an ideal companion app to hyperpad if you like vector based graphics.

Are you planning to continue working on this or is this an experiment?

Just an experiment. I actually bought hyperpad for my 9 old year old son. He was getting frustrated with Hopscotch and similar scratch like apps for his iPad, because they don't allow to import his own drawings. So I checked out hyperpad a bit to see if it is something for him. I think hyperpad might be too difficult right now for him. But I must say I am really surprised myself how well the app works and how fun it's to be able to walk around, lay on a couch and just fool around creating something. So who knows... ;)

Oh ok because I was wondering whether you actually wanted feedback. If the game you're making is serious then I could've written pages of feedback lol. It's quite fun: you're definitely correct. Hyperpad has a few bugs but you can easily fix them by doing stuff in different ways. I tried Snap, a Scratch app, and it was completely broken. I think that Hyperpad helps get the concepts across just as well for basic coding, too.

I'm pretty sure a nine year old could understand hyperpad :)
