Something I always like to do right away is make my own button and joystick graphics. It makes the game look so much more polished.

I think it needs more purpose and polishing, even for a demo. You're so critical about others, yet you don't meet your own "there's no point" expectations.

I asked the Hyperpad developers. No idea whether you have to be a developer yourself, but there's no actual option for it in settings.
