My Army Is Better is finally done after over a couple months now. It's still a bit early, and isn't fully made yet, but I'm proud of what's done so far.
My Army Is Better is a strategy game based around time, money, and war. Each day you'll make the constant decision of recruiting troops, training them, helping the people, or upgrading your army overall. Will your army be huge with little skill, or small with the greatest combat experience ever? Or somewhere in between? You can decide that. You can even choose your army's default weapon to change the tide of battle.
At first, it's a bit complicated, but you'll quickly gain the hang of being a general during a massive war. Train troops and watch the armies fight in battle in-game.
Some upgrades aren't available yet, as well as battle rewards for winning and such. 2 out of the 4 weapons also aren't available yet.

I wanna make a game like this, except you are controlling a nation.

Sounds cool. Hopefully it isn't too similar to mine :p

Actually, HyperPad is money hungry now, so you have to pay to finish a game, which I'm not doing

I have played it for about 15 minutes. Art & programming are cool, but in the end game becomes a bit boring. You should somehow make it more various. For example, you can make events between every day. Like: "Our Night Watch have caught a spy! What should we do with him?" - "Kill the spy" +5 civilian status, "Interrogate him" +2 army CE. It just becomes monotonous after several wars. Increase morale.. Recruit.. Upgrade.. Train.. Speed up hour.. Increase morale.. Rectuit.. Upgrade.. Train.. But i feel this is an early version of on of the best games of hyperPad. I know you since Gamepress and i know you can do something awesome. Good luck with developing, @54rush!

Thanks a whole lot! I have some ideas in mind that will increase the in-depth gameplay even more, and hopefully make it less repetitive. I'll also finish up the upgrades and everything else. I really like your idea of random events, so maybe I'll add that in aswell!

Your icon says MIAB did you mean to do MAIB?
September 15, 2016
Oh, thanks. Yeah it's supposed to be MAIB.

No problem!

The wars get too hard too fast. I've run out of funds and cannot beat 100 people even if I strategically planned absolutely everything. Either that or I'm bad at strategy games. I'm just probably bad. 9/10, would be good if it didn't go from 50 people to fight against to like 100.

Ah. I guess I'll balance it out a bit better. Just some insight on how the game currently works:
After each war the enemy gains anywhere from 40 to 60 soldiers and 1 to 3 CE added onto the amount they had the previous war. It's random, so you could have gotten harder armies during war. At which war did things start getting too difficult? How many times did you try?

I forgot to mention that the game is completely endless! The wars continue to go on forever and get harder each time.
