More fun than I expected. I dig how you get to see spawn points in advance. I got decent at trying to see how fast I could sweep waves. If you expanded on the idea with some level variety and maybe set it up with a combo counter where you're trying to clear each wave in one smooth thought out path I could have a lot of fun with this. I have no idea how to kill stuff. So far I've played about 10 games and my high score is still 0 and it doesn't seem like I've killed anything. Tried pressing all over screen, all that does is makes me walk or pauses the game. Tried just walking into the slimes, they kill me. Might need some sort of tutorial? Weird part is I've definitely played this game before and actually knew how to play it, now either I have no idea or something is not working.

This game is not only great by hyperPad standards, but also by overall game design & stuff standards. You rock SIRD4SH. It would be really wonderful to see completed version in AppStore someday, I'd pay 10 bucks for it gladly. Looking forward to seeing what stuff you're gonna bring to the table. But thanks for the kind words! Considering the broken-ness of the game and my lack of motivation to fix it, Iโm probably done with this game. But I do plan on recreating Double Champion one last time so Iโm not exactly throwing in the towel. Itโs all going to be hand-drawn this time, too! ๐ฌ

Hello, I have to say that your game is one of the best games Iโve tried on the hub so far.. I like it. I have just a few questions if you donโt mind. #1 Iโve been tinkering with trying to get the enemies to chase after my character. Iโm able to do that, however I donโt know how to have the graphic flip in the same direction that my controlled player is going. In what order would you have to set the behaviors up?

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking lol. The breadbin screen is on a different scene from everything else. It changes its transparency from 0% to 100%, then back to 0% again against a black background before loading the next scene. It's quite simple.

@SIRD4SH , I've found a bug. When I tap "Restart" after Champ's defeat, the music stops playing. It's kinda boring without music.. Also, sometimes flying enemies shoot yellow fireballs. This color is familiar to coins' color and it confuses sometimes. Maybe that's only my problem.. But in general, the game is great. My favorite in hyperPad.

And thanks! I'm aware of the music bug. I've been using it to my advantage when adding sound effects and listening to how they sound in action. I should get around to it soon, though. And I feel the same way about the yellow fireballs. I die to them all the time. I'll probably have to alter those colors for sure. Thanks for the feedback!

The game is in an extremely early stage so I have yet to implement a lot of things. Some things currently in the game are placeholders.
The finished product is going to have 7+ boss fights and a different environment and arena for each one. Each stage will also add a new enemy type. There will also be three additional unlockable Champions to play as. Each will play differently but will be equally balanced.
As for the animating, just a bunch of practice. Like, hours upon hours of trial and error. Expect another update within the coming weeks. Thanks for the feedback!
