Slow traffic bugs you? Put that to an end, destroy all slow cars from the road even if it means taking out the law! You can even use power ups completely dominate the road!

This is the new Traffic Knockout! everything has been improved and a lot of detailing has been done. There is still more to come but this update has been long overdue, enjoy!

Very good update! The graphics are really nice! The sound effects are also a great fit. I think you should try to find some music that fits it, it would make it it more fun and exciting. Good royalty free music, there's a guy named Kevin McLeod (I think) who makes some great music for free. His site lets you sort by theme and feeling and may have something that fits this.

There's this amazing site called www.soundimage.com. If I'm not mistaken, then lots of Kevin Mcleods good music, though royalty free, still costs - also, if I remember correctly his site was way to commercialized for me and I had trouble finding good gaming music. Soundimage has good looping and pixelated music, some sci-if and quirky themes - nothing special. But it isn't commercial and is completely free.

Thanks, I'm planning on it I still need more unlockable cars for the shop. I would like to have at least 20+ cars to choose from, and I need an intro to the game with a quick tutorial.

I'll be working on that, I'm trying make it App Store ready many games have the first unlockable inexpensive then the rest are expensive so that the player keeps trying to unlock the wanted car. This believe it or not this is a strategy a lot of successful developers use to keep players returning to play. But I do agree the numbers might be too expensive. Comment or Pm me how many times you played and how many points you received to see how difficult it is and how I can improve it, thanks for the feedback.

Lol, I forgot to add the high score. The top number on game over scene is only the most recent score not a high score, I'll add one.

Thanks @Solomon, it's simple keep creating content until you find a great concept then start building up from there. My content was never good when I first started using hyperPad it takes time, mostly effort. This game has been recreated for its 10th time and I finally think I like it. Also there is a lot of YouTube videos @Murtaza has linked me to and that I've seen on hyperPads twitter which where very helpful. I'll see about adding something on the forum as a help post that contains all the video links.

@iSmartgames I'm not sure on an exact date, but soon. I'm trying to perfect the new update, most of the gameplay is complete but there is a few "bugs" i need to fix that are minor and I have to complete the unlock able vehicles. I'm taking way too long only because I have recreated some of the graphics 3-6 times for the finish I'm looking for. I am posting updates with screen shots of the progress on a Facebook page I created.

I finally started to recreate this entire game, what do you like on the next update? Removing or adding objects, power ups, etc. the new update will be portrait view with 3 lanes. I saw a suggestion of a boost power up I am planning on replacing the shield with boost power up that will speed you up but also have the ability to destroy anything in you way.

this is fun. actually, running into the other cars is really fun. you might consider a mode where you knock as many cars out as you can and get scored like carmagedon or something. you could also easily add in tilt controls and add it as an additional way to start the game at the title screen.

Thanks, I'm planning on completely recreating to improve this game, as soon as portrait view is available I will get to work on all new graphics, gameplay, and several game modes with different maps and cars.

Feel free to report this game to the developers (have this removed) currently it has performance/crash problems due to the graphics I created. I currently don't have time to recreate the graphics, as soon as I get spare time I will have an updated version that will fix the problems with better gameplay, sorry for the inconvenience.

@Thecheater887 I am aware of this, I need to redesign all the graphics for this to be fixed. My current plan is to wait for portrait view on hyperPad so that there is 3 lanes for less "free roam" and more action I will also redesign the controls from the current controls to a swipe to move lanes.

Why does it seem to crash no much? Crashing wouldn't be so bad if Hyperpad made games save to the device so you don't have to re-download it every time.

@Aidan Oxaley it is not hyperPad or your iPad, it is my mistake the graphics I created for the game are 2048x1536 they only use around 30-50% of the graphic space leaving a huge blank area. This causes the game to lag and crash on most devices, to fix I would have to completely recreate all the graphics. I will consider recreating them all only if people truly see potential in this game. I do have a redesigned version of this concept but it needs a lot of work. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I could but then then it won't look as "sharp" on retina displays (my opinion), also I might change it to just 3 lanes on portrait view once portrait is available/integrated into hyperPad

Liking the new update :) Great progress so far. I'm having a small issue that there is a black section along the bottom every second or so. I think this has to do with your scrolling background/level. You need to add an extra "chunk" so there is aways something there when you're moving the bottom piece to the top.

@Murtaza Which device are you using I noticed a significant amount of lag on my iPad mini and as you said the black section at the bottom, but on my iPad Air I only see a small amount of a lag spike. I'm looking into making an animation as replacement to see if it improves the performance.

Sweet. I loved the graphics and the layout of the game. I think there should be more power ups, but otherwise thoroughly enjoyed the mini-gun hoisted above the car. I didn't mind the tilt controls, but think there should be a touch feature.

Was pretty fun. My initial reaction was to avoid the cars, not ram into the sides. I had this same issue in the old version as well. Maybe the first few seconds when the game start, have the player car "drive" into the scene, and ram a car.. This way you get the idea that ramming them is possible.

Also, the same for hitting from behind. Since I can hit from the side, I assumed I could hit from behind as well. Some how find a way to make this less discouraging when doing it the first time? Losing instantly almost makes me feel like it's a bug, or I didn't quite get why I lost.

Music will obviously set the overall tone, but right now the shoot sound effect is kind of annoying. But this could be fixed with music playing.

I think there is a bug with the shooting. If you shot a car, then run into the explosion you lose. I don't know if you did that on purpose, or not. But I felt like it shouldn't kill me.

Overall has some potential. To make it really addictive and "sticky" you really need to make the player feel rewarding. Tune into the human brains natural "pleasure centre". Humans love being told they're doing well, and love feeling rewarded. Take Slot mahcines for example, even when you're losing you feel great and still want to dump more money in. Yes, it's a bug I didn't see that. As soon as i get some sort of software to create sounds and music I'll add them to all my games. For excitement and better gameplay I have something planned but won't give any info it's a surprise :) i can say it is an event that will occur after a certain amount of min/seconds. As for the rewarding felling im planning on sounds, animations or particles, with numbers spawning around the score amount as seen on NOT BOB by @SIRD4SH, hopefully he doesn't mind.

The game has potential,if the tilt controls are sorted,at the moment there not responsive enough,theres at least a 1 second delay before the car tilts left or right.only played 1 game because of the bad tilt controls. Nice graphics.

Weird, I don't see tilt problems on my end, but I am working on touch controls (touch left, touch right) but I cannot get them to work how I want them to, so tilt is only for mean time. Also thanks I needed to step up on my graphics, it's been some time using sketch club but I'm starting to get a hang of it, just needed practice.
